Step 1:

Facial Hot Towel & Double Shampoo

Your treatment begins with a hot facial towel to ease the mind and melt away stress.

Once you are relaxed, we will begin a warm-water shampoo cleanse using a massage brush and Milbon’s Scalp Care Shampoo to exfoliate your scalp and cleanse your hair.

Step 2:

Therapeutic Massage

Next is a therapeutic scalp massage to boost circulation and improve skin health. First, we’ll apply Milbon’s Spa Cleansing Gel to deeply exfoliate and clear buildup. To finish this step, we use Milbon’s Hydrating Conditioner to replenish moisture, soften strands, and promote hair vitality.

We first fell in love with head spa treatments through Milbon, a sustainable Japanese brand famous for its lightweight, high-performance formulas. Christina completed a Milbon Headspa certification in May 2025, where she learned more about scalp health and the specific massage techniques that make the service so deeply restorative.

But we didn’t stop at the classroom. In November 2025, Christina traveled to Osaka, Japan, to experience world-class head spa services at the Assort Salon. The incredible attention to detail and the thorough care we received from stylist Mao Takeda made for an unforgettable experience. We are excited to bring the same style of service back to San Diego, and we can’t wait for you to experience it at Crescent Barber Shop.
